So, I decided to chronicle it for myself: Lake Champlain freezes over and it doesn't go into the records as being frozen over. This shot is from this morning: Feb 6th 2022.
And yet, this site does not show the lake as closed:
Added: As of Feb 20 2025, the same site has no call for 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025. It looks like it's frozen right now.
