Why would you NOT include suicide and accidents? Why would you include homicides where no gun is used? This is a discussion of gun control legislation not "why does murder happen".

Not sure you understand the issue. It's not JUST about crime. It's about gun related DEATHS. All of them. You're trying to change the narrative. Studies have shown that gun control reduces ALL gun related deaths, not just murder.

You don't get to dictate what THE issue is. I think murder is an issue and that murder victims don't really care how they were killed, they care that they were killed.
As far as suicide goes: It won't happen to you, unless you do it. Admittedly, there are individuals too dull to figure out how to complete the task without a gun. But any gun will work, so saving these dullards would require a 100% ban on guns, for everyone.
