Yesterday was the Marine Corps Birthday!
I must have felt the spirit though: I clean and jerked 160 lbs for the first time since my birthday and on that day, my present was having my bride as a spectator.
It's been a while since I was in and I misremembered the date of the birthday--I saw some posts on the internet and didn't realize they had jumped the gun. The birthday is today, the 10th of November.
I am lifting today, so there is a chance that I could honor the Corps by hitting a heavy lift. We shall see...
