We planted Tiger Lilly bulbs last summer and were rewarded with zero flowers--Here is the first (and only so far) this summer. Notice how the black spots stick up from the surface of the petals. One of the girls asked why they are called tigers and not cheetahs since tigers are striped. I replied, guessing, that it must be the orange color--Tigers are orange.
